What are you most looking forward to at this year’s Microbiome AgBioTech Summit?
Great question. Aside from the obvious benefits such as, networking and learning about new products and technologies, I am looking forward to discussions related to commercialization strategies and to identifying required next steps to support market growth.
Why do you think this summit is such an important touch point for the agricultural microbiome community right now?
This meeting provides a unique opportunity to understand how far we have progressed as an industry, and to anticipate expected challenges ahead, particularly around grower adoption and retention.
What key challenges or opportunities in microbiome agbiotech do you think the industry needs to focus on in 2026?
For me, the key challenges I face would be in field validation and prioritization of product label claims which align with evolving regulatory requirements, within a complex market environment.
What makes this a valuable event for those working to bring microbiome innovations into agriculture?
I would say the agenda, alongside the numerous opportunities to network, build partnerships and add value across the industry.
For attendees joining the summit, what insights or takeaways do you hope they leave with after your session?
I’d like my peers to walk away with an understanding of the shared challenges and opportunities ahead, as regulatory requirements align across markets. Perhaps also a better understanding of the critical role that regulators bring to the marketplace.
How important are meetings like this in helping move microbiome technologies from research into real world agricultural application?
Meetings like the Microbiome AgBioTech Summit are highly important because they directly connect scientific discovery with the practical, regulatory and commercial steps needed to turn microbiome research into real agricultural products.
