As CEO and co-founder of Robigo, Andee Wallace is redesigning crop treatments to create a more sustainable food system. Listed in Forbes as one of the top 10 women founders leading the field of synthetic biology, Andee and the Robigo team are applying synthetic biology to engineer microbes to improve plant health, agricultural productivity, and sustainability. Andee has a bachelor’s degree in Bioengineering from Stanford and PhD in Biological Engineering from MIT. As a graduate student in Chris Voigt’s lab, Andee developed a bio-based process using peptide post-translational modifications as modular building blocks to control the synthesis, structure, and material properties of inorganic nanoparticles.
