Successful in leading regulatory and developmental teams, focusing on the identification / development of biological and bioactive products for agricultural and “specialty” markets. Key activities range from scouting (ideation), research and formulatory / efficacy based product development – being cognisant and compliant with associated regulatory requirements. Strong external relationships built with; universities / technology centres and providers; efficacy and safety testing organizations; regulators; NGO’s; and various commercial stakeholder groups. Responsible for leading a small, yet highly successful, team in respect to product registrations in Canada (CFIA/PMRA and CEPA). High levels of motivation, passion and multi-disciplinary experience drive my success.
Areas of excellence: Management of R&D programs (resource, budget, milestones, results); strong team player within regional and global groups; communication skills, agriculture, microbial formulation, applied product development focus, regulatory knowledge and ability to rationalize response and defense, quick to realize IP opportunities. 2022 – Awarded Global Expert Principal Scientist for leadership role in field of biological inoculants.
